Scholarships

The Moose fraternity is a family based organization dedicated to the care of children and senior citizens. We believe in supporting our community as civic minded volunteers and sincerely want to encourage young adults to give back to their community through volunteerism. The Centreville Moose Lodge, in the City of Fairfax, will award one or more scholarships to senior students graduating Fairfax High School, Robinson Secondary School, Woodson High School, Centreville High School or Chantilly High School. To be eligible, applicants must be accepted (or awaiting acceptance) to an accredited public junior/community college, a public four-year college/university, or an accredited trade school, in the Commonwealth of Virginia, as a full-time student.

 

Scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, extra-curricular participation, community service, and financial need. Scholarship amounts vary based on the number of recipients. They are generally $5,000 each.
